Miso Tahini King Oyster Mushrooms

About the Recipe


  • 8-10 King Oyster Mushrooms, cut in half and scored

  • 2 Garlic cloves, grated

  • -2 Tbsp White miso paste

  • 2 Tbsp Tahini

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 2 tsp Rice vinegar

  • 1 Tbsp Soy sauce

  • 1 tsp Sesame oil

  • 2 Tbsp Honey or maple syrup

  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chives, for garnish


Step 1:

Preheat grill or pan to medium low heat.

Step 2:

Half and score King oyster mushrooms (scoring helps cook mushrooms evenly), toss in olive oil and grated garlic.

Step 3:

Mix remaining ingredients to create sauce. Lightly brush sauce to coat mushrooms. Cook 1 minute and turn mushrooms over and repeat.

Step 4:

Remove mushrooms from grill and toss in remaining sauce. Garnish with chives and enjoy!
